As we reflect on the theme of this year's conference, “How God Deepens Our Faith and Character Through Trials and Sufferings”, here are some reminders of God's promises to us.
What man intends for evil, I intend for good. Do not fear, for I am with you always, I will never leave you or forsake you. When I have tried you you shall come forth as gold. Nothing and no one can thwart My sovereign plan for your life. I will accomplish all things that concern you.
I have created the heavens and the earth, nothing is too difficult for Me. What is impossible with man, is possible with Me. My grace is sufficient, when you are weakest I am strongest. Leave your mistakes in the past. Be on the lookout for a new thing I will do in your midst.
Give Me your broken dreams and the pain of your affliction. I promise you, I will take your ashes and make them into something beautiful. A trophy of my healing grace. Always remember, I am a gracious God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, you can count on Me to relent concerning the calamity in your life.
My daughters, I urge you, do not despair, but believe with all of your heart that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Only do this, wait for Me, be strong, and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for Me.
